AOPA gives members free access to flight planner

I'll stick with my other services. I'm letting my membership expire with this year. Too expensive for an organization that is so out of touch with their alleged "constituency."

I'm not going to drop my membership, yet, again, but you are correct. They have been out of touch for a decade or two. That being said....... It makes sense that the iflightplanner folks have probably woken up to the fact that being an Apple only offering is causing lowering use and exposure for their product. This is obviously an attempt to save themselves. They've ignored the fact that because of things like Apples planned obsolescence, that people are leaving Apple, and the majority have moved to Android.

I'm not interested in their product.......
