Haven't received it yet, but we went to Summit in Long Beach last year and had a good time. Depending on timing, finances, and the like, we might be interested in attending again.

Remember that from last year, Grant! And was seriously jealous about missing out on the formal event (dinner on the RMS Queen Mary)! Here's the link with all of the information for this year:

Sure would be nice if AOPA would locate this event somewhere where it would be more centrally located for everyone to get there... like say Chicago or St. Louis. Just sayin'... :)

Phil B. always claimed that they located these sorts of events where there x number of pilots within y miles or something like that, and apparently the midwest didn't make the cut. OTOH, Oshkosh seems to be doing pretty well. Just sayin'!

People in the Midwest don't count - just ask AOPA.

Or NASA. Two shuttles in the Northeast, none in the AF museum in Dayton (or the Johnson Space Flight center in Houston).

I left some spent fuel in Hartford once and have no desire to return.

This would be one great event which could not be given a miss. A lot of crowd could be expected and of course the planes. The pic you have put is awesome.Keenly waiting for this event
