I'm on final the other day in a foot to floor forward slip. I got to wondering what effect that would have on AOA indicators. Most of them seem to have the sensor mounted on one side of the airplane or the other.

Interesting question. My AOA (actually LRI) probe is on the left wing next to the Pitot tube. Can't say I've noticed an effect.
