Anyone need to build time quickly trading off safety pilot duties?

I own a share in a Cessna 172 based in Marana, Arizona. Our partnership agreement is $20 per tach hour plus fuel. St. Johns, Arizona is currently $3.35 per gallon although I'm open to temporarily basing elsewhere.

If I were closer! I have trouble finding anyone to safety pilot for me. It's frustrating

If you were a little closer (or if I could get my other half to agree to relocate) I'd love to, however ....

Check out these Chief Counsel rulings to be sure that your sharing plan meets the requirements:

Bob, what about their partnership agreement do you think does not pass meet the requirements?

I don't need any more cross-country time so the flights can be structured to allow the other pilot to log it.

Btw, I did a flight over the weekend. Thanks to keeping RPMs at the bottom of the green arc and a cheap fuel stop the average cost per hour was $43 and change. It burned about 6.6 gallons per hour.

I'm always game to be anyone's safety pilot. Done it once for an IFR-rated friend in his C177.

I'm Dayton area though.
