I had an alternator failure on the RV-9A with O-320. I replaced it with a near exact replacement from a 83 Dodge Charger. As it turns out, looks like the alternator I removed was a FAA-PMA alternator for Piper aircraft including the PA-28 and PA-32, possibly more.
It is a Chrysler 3656624
It is a 60 amp alternator.
Anyone need one as a core? If not, can anyone suggest options for this one other than tossing it?
