Does anyone here know where I could find a list of record-breaking events in aviation???

I know some guys who set the time record for landing on all the hard-surfaced airports in florida.

I've always wondered what it takes to set that and what planning goes into it. I wouldn't mind setting up such a flight here in Illinois.

Just a thought...any help would be appreciated.

I can't find the magazine, but last month's AOPA magazine had a reference to such records as those...you have to apply for the record before its actually set tho if I remember the article correctly
