I enjoyed Jeanie's posts and noticed that she has not posted in over a month and she has been a frequent poster for the year and a half or so I've been on this forum. Does anyone know if she is okay?

Well I saw her in person about three weeks ago. What a treat indeed. I wrote about it in hanger talk. If you guys ever get a chance to fly in the Big Bend area of West Texas you should definitely do so.

Texas.... I've been teaching a lot and also was in Idaho flying with Rich Stowell for a week and then practicing for the Hill Country Hammerfest aerobatic contest that was on labor day weekend. I flew primary and got first place :-)

Things are settling down into just teaching a lot so I'll be around more... Thanks for asking about me Doc. Also, I need to return your book.

I'll try to post a picture if I can figure out how

Yes, Tom is a very good pilot and flies that Pitts well. Too bad he couldn't stay. Are you teaching him in the Pitts?

Very cool! That is something I want to try sometime. Not sure if I will be able to handle it though! Congratulations!

Nope, nothing appropriate or insurable for TW, no interest in acro. There's a guy here with a Decathalon who will if you're interested.

That's hilarious!

Do you do weekend taildragger courses and intro to aerobatics ?

No, I don't have anything that nice! I am happy to see him doing so well. I'm probably not capable of performing those maneuvers at this point... since I have no aircraft with which to practice them.

Thanks for checking in Jeanie. I'm glad that so much flying is the reason for not posting.

I'm not at all worried about the book, I was worried about you. You went from a very frequent poster to "not a word" for so long I was afraid something had happened. I've seen this happen on other forums a few times over the last 12 years or so and sometimes the explanation for it is not so good.

Are you planning on going to the air show in Midland? A friend of mine and I might be making the trek if both of our schedules work out.

Glad to hear from you and thanks for sharing the great picture.

When is the Airshow? I might come if the timing works out.

October 12.

Columbus Day, that evil racist holiday according to everyone nowadays. ;)

(The 12th is the real day, but it's celebrated on e Monday. Well, not anymore... We're all evil smallpox laden murderers, and celebrating finding "India" where the "Indians" lived ain't politically correct anymore.)
