As most all of you know, I have sold my little PA-28/161. Anyway, I had the wing tip replaced before I sold it. The old wing tip had such a nice paint job on it, I kept it, and now have it hanging over the door in the room in my garage. It looks very cool, but it is missing its light.

This is a long shot, but does anyone have an old wingtip light assembly for a right wing tip (green & clear) from an old Warrior that they want to get rid of?

I asked my mechanic and he said even if he had one, he would keep it for someone who actually needed it for an airplane, not a decoration.

Naturally I want to spend nothing or next to it to complete this project, but if anyone has one perhaps we can negotiate?

Give Faeth Aircraft Salvage a call. It is up by me. Their prices are pretty cheap.

Thanks John, I called and talked to Jay. They had what I was looking for except that it is fully functional with the strobe. I ordered it anyway, but it set me back $85.00. S OK though, I don't like to do anything half assed.

Sneak up on a Christmas Tree and steal...ahem...ask Santa for 1 each clear and green light. Stick 'em in a small cardboard tube (to make it look "real") and run power to it.

I built several of these for a bar I had and they looked good!
