I'm not there Dean but depending on what you like you could check out Balboa Park (museums), La Jolla, Hotel Coronado, Old Town, the USS Midway, Mission San Diego de Alcala , etc.

Thanks Tim, I will check those out. Next time you get over to the Joplin area let me know. If I am home we can do lunch. Kingsley field opened the Hangar Cafe and serves some pretty good stuff.

I was involved in the construction of the Embassy Suites in La Jolla in the mid-late '80's. I spent about 18 months out there. Loved it! Especially as a kid in his twenties.
And that's all I'll say about that.
