Are you getting side-tone?
Anybody use a David Clark 200 intercom?

I have one, though it now sits in the closet most of the time as I have a panel-mount in the plane. I don't remember NOT receiving side tone. I can dig it out and give it a try if you'd like me to.

That would be very nice of you. I sold my 150 to a young man.
It is his first airplane. The side tone on the DC200 is not working or it just doesn't have it. I can't remember if there was side tone when I owned it, or not.

Karl,
I dug out my DC-200 today and tested it. It does NOT appear to supply side tone when the mic is keyed. I believe that the presence of side tone during transmit is typically a function of the radio.
