I just stopped at the thrift store last weekend and was browsing the paperback books, and saw a book with a helocopter on the cover.
It's called "Wings of the Eagle" (360 Pages) by W.T. Grant, a helicopter Pilot in Vietnam 1968-1969. It's a fascinating read, pretty much a day by day account. I was surprised at how many hours per month these guys were flying, in excess of 200 at times, in violation of Army Regs, of course. Anyone here heard of the "Kingsmen"? Dave S.?
At the rate I'm reading, it'll only be a couple more days till I'm finished.
