I flew by last month on a trip to PA and noticed the new runway. I was never brave enough to land there with the old runway.
Anybody land at Hummel W75 with the new runway?

29 years ago Hummel was my first XC destination after getting my private. My first passenger (my dad) didn't mind that I made two go arounds prior to landing as I was still working on getting the sight picture perfect.
I haven't been since they rebuilt the runway but I'm sure it's fine. They closed the German restaurant across the street a few years ago, but I hear the Oyster and seafood spot Merroir a short walk down the road is supposed to be pretty good.
We used to go in there for lunch from time to time. The scary part wasn't the runway but the swale off to the side if you wanted to park closer to the restaurant.
