I'd like to fly into this airport, but this concerns me:

asphalt, in poor condition
EXTENSIVE PVMT CRACKING, VEGETATION GROWING THROUGH CRACKS.

Is it as bad as it sounds?

So, I can now give a PIREP on this airport. It's been repaved, and in excellent condition. The guy running the airport was extremely helpful and friendly. Plane was nice and safe for a week.

Stop in and say hi!

I fly into 5B7 in New York and the pavement there is certainly just as your description. Potholes, loose rocks and asphalt, and grass growing through cracks. Squares of re-paved runway here and there. Best thing I can say is make a nice smooth landing. Not sure if anything else is in order. But this is in my 150 and I would actually love to take my bird out to some tame gravel airstrips or beaches like everyone used to do back in the 30’s when my grandfather was flying. I have lots of pictures of shirtless Italian guys in their 20’s with airplanes lined up on the beach or in some random field. No 28” bush tires in sight.
