Any thoughts on this M20C?

How is the M20C for width for those of us who are not girth-challenged?
I found a note saying:
Cabin width (elbow-to-elbow) in a Mooney 201 is 43.5"; in a Bonanza it's
45.5". Lest I be accused of favoritism, these comparison numbers are
from an old Mooney brochure.
and another note saying
The C182 is about 42",

I felt like Bob Dole when I was in an M20C.
(couldn't use my left arm because it was pressed into my side)

Piper, Beech, Cessna = wider than an M20C

I wrote a review on the M20C once....lemme find it

I'm 6'3, and when I was 250 lbs I ferried a C model from Maryland to Colorado - it was cozy, but comfy. Mooney's are like sports cars - you wear them, rather than sit in them, but they are not cramped. And they are probably the most fun and speed for the aviation dollar, especially with gas prices north of $5 per gallon.

They're incredibly strong, stable, and great IFR platforms. Parts and service don't seem to be a problem - the factory is supporting the older airplanes and realizes that parts sales are a good income stream. There are great Mooney associations too.
