Since we are past Past Oshkosh this year and the AME Guide has not been updated since Jan 2025 have there been any updates or progress being made behind the scenes? I wanted to ask specifically because I’ve watched some of the more recent Grand Rounds from the FAA and they have been saying essentially any day now the AME guide will be updated going back to May of this year?

Have any of the AMEs heard anything on any changes or mental health updates? I am good friends with someone who was on the ARC and knows Dr. Northrop and was told the changes are coming (pending the FAA attorney legal stuff that needs sorted out) but they haven’t heard a timeline. Not trying to badmouth just curious where things stand as we enter August. Thanks!

One would think, but seems status quo...SNAFU.

Nah. We get the updates from closed Zoom meetings. We get the new AME guide, when we get the new AME guide.
The ARC is several steps away form administratively being able to do any of that.....
