Of late, many have noticed performance issues on the site. This is often due to aggressive scraper bots hammering our site. I've just installed software that will attempt to thwart that. It shouldn't affect any "human" users; you need to try to load many pages within a few seconds to trigger it. If you see a captcha pop up in the middle of using the site, you've triggered it. If you cause that, let me know, and I'll relax the thresholds a bit. In the ten minutes the thing has been turned on already, we've already throttled two of these abusers.
