First off I will say I did do alot of searching but didn’t find anyone with this problem.Im pretty sure I’m missing something obvious which is why I’m here.
I have a skyBeacon on my luscombe and it is working,I checked it with the performance test.However,the previous owner changed the n number for a while,then changed it back when I bought it because he wanted to keep the n number.I changed the n number on the skyBeacon with the app,but when I do the Faa performance test,it won’t show up under my current number.If I put it in under my old number(the one he had changed it to briefly)it will show up every time.Question is how do I change it to where it shows up on the performance test?When I do the test with the old number it will send me a report and on it,it says call sign ******(new number)
Do I have to go deeper and register it with the faa or something?Thanks
