Pictures on the link make it look like a forced landing in someone's back yard.

The propane tank is actually knocked over on it's side ... lucky.

I recognize the plane. I posted a commentary several years about about the pilots landing technique. I was critical, and subsequently, posters were critical of my critique. Telling me I was too harsh, and prolly didn't know what I was talking about. Sort of predicted this event quite a while back. I don't know who was flying of course.

He did knock that propane tank off the stand.

Whew. Man, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the thread title. I was just talking to an acquaintance of mine yesterday as he fueled up his Warrior. He mentioned he was flying down to Cedar Mills today. Not that it's any better that someone else crashed, but I was glad to see it wasn't a Warrior parked next to that propane tank.

There have been a couple in the area this week.
I heard a saratoga rolled on TO at KSEP yesterday. I believe they walked away.

There was another that I think didn't end well but it and the one at KSEP were both rumor level comments so not sure about the details.

Pretty day, too, with nice conditions.

Not sure about the conditions in North TX yesterday but here in Central TX, it was blowing 20G30 yesterday. I wouldn't go flying in that voluntarily.
But the winds around Dallas might have been tamer, somebody feel free to look it up, I am too lazy on a Monday morning. :)

It was a 'go out and fly' anywhere weekend around DFW. I must of had 20 planes go over the house on Sat and Sun. Everyone was out dusting off the cobwebs. Some were not so successful.

No joke. It was blowing harder than Obama down here yesterday...
