From KOLR ch 10 TV in SGF:

"A pilot from Florida died Friday morning when his homemade fiberglass aircraft crashed into a rugged area of Henning State Park in Branson."

He had issues last night, landed at Point Lookout; was leaving to go to MKC to pick up a friend, then to Emporia, KS to a "convention". More details on their website.
