Got a quote for my first annual on my VW powered Minimax and was shocked. The A&P I am talking with built the first customer made Minimax, serial number 3. He has also owned several VW powered aircraft. And hes based at a nearby airport.
The price for inspection and sign off......$229.
Any maintenance or repairs is done at $65/hr.
I feel a little like I won the lottery.
Ill fly it over there in a few weeks for the annual.
Of course now I probably just jinxed myself....
