Another Dreamliner fire

You can see the top of the fuselage charred near the vertical stabilizer.

Doesn't look like a battery fire to me. Looks to be where the rear galley or lavatories are located.

Of that is really charred, is that hull toast? Can it be sectioned and repaired?

Ugh.

Lots of ways to repair composite structure. Depends on the heat affected zone. Looks like a galley or Lav since the battery compartment fires were on the lower half of the fuselage.

Ugh.

Not toast, I'm sure it can and will be fixed. Seen far worse damage made to military aircraft and we fixed it up. Many times I was surprised at the damage we had to fix.
