Lets say I am flying for a weekend trip. My friend is along for the trip but along the way he is taking video of the flight and decides he wants to sell recreational dvds with that footage on it.
Would that require me to have a commercial ticket?

I "think" you're okay as long as the video was incidental to the flight, i.e. the flight wasn't for the purpose of taking the video.

Otherwise you could be charged for your Gaston's video!!:D
