One asked an undercover female ABC News reporter if she was a "hooker" because "I was ready to reach for my wallet," ABC News reported Tuesday.

"We expect a level of professionalism from our employees at all times, including after work hours. We are reminding employees of that fact," Johnson said. "Reports of unruly public behavior are disappointing for the entire FAA."

Another quote from within the article:

"The only social function attached to the training was a welcome reception with a cash bar and food provided by the hotel, Johnson said. No taxpayer dollars were used for it," she said.

Then who does pay the per diem allowances, and/or expenses?

Breaking News: FAA employees are normal men that like to drink beer after work and hit on women.

Film at 11.

This strikes me as kind-of crazy. Presumably some of the benefits of these courses is it lets employees make connections with and exchange ideas with employees at other locations, and also improves morale. Why not encourage this by funding a social event?

I think I found the "problem" (if you want to consider it a problem):

While at the training, FAA managers received $81 per day for expenses

$31/day food
$50/day alcohol

Life's good!

Correct. If the hotel provides it, you can be sure it comes out of the cost of the meeting somehow (usually included with room rental). BTDT.
