As some of you may know I have been involved with Angel Flight East based in Blue Bell PA. AFE is one of the beneficiaries of the Wings FlyBQ. The prime fundraiser for AFE is their annual Wings-n-Wheels Static Show held at Wings Field (KLOM) every year.
Its a great event with classic and vintace cars and Vintage and unusual airplanes. We have had everything from T34s and J3s to Corsairs and and old Jenny displayed. We have also expanded the aviation displays a bit and bought in some of the LSA groups in the hopes of inspriing so future aviators.
This year our ability to get pilots to display their vintage aircraft, War Birds and unusual aircraft such as the Breezy has been a bit hampered, we've been hit with two bad weather years in a row.
Soooo if anyone knows of anyone in the North East who would be interested in exhibiting their vintage, warbird or unusual aircraft would you send me a pm or just have them contact AFE directly. The show this year is Sept 11. AFE is a fantastic orgainzation and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
