Maybe call this a FYI for anyone interested. This week over 4 flight lessons.

All Flights:
- Garmin Pilot
- Screen Intensity Force to ~85% on both (same readability in sunlight at all times)
- No external power
- Outside air temps 75-82F

For the first 3 flights:
- 3.9hrs (1.2, 1.2, 1.5)
- Android Galaxy S2 (latest version)
- No charging between flights
- Ended up with 28% left, almost enough for one more flight (n/a for training anyway)
- Not that warm to the touch after flight ends
- One day was the warmest day (just over 80F)

For the last flight
- 1.5hrs
- iPad Mini -2
- Ended up with 29% left, not enough for another flight.
- Was very warm to the touch afterwards (but did not overheat)
- Was on the second warmest day (just under 80F)

Obviously the mini is older so probably a smaller battery and less efficient processors. I wonder if the latest Mini would be similar to the latest Android?
