yes Marfa is a wonderful spot. I wish I could make it down there in April for the Landmark of Soaring dedication.
 
When I first came to the area we wanted to move to Marfa but we are quite happy here in Fort Davis.
BTW, two of those named in the movie as local actors are pilot friends of mine. Also there is no stop light in Marfa, we are proud that the nearest one is 90 miles distant, and we intend to keep it that way!
 
The challenge, then, is to try to avoid the Californication of the place.
