But actually, it seems that most GA pilots are fairly mediocre when compared to pros. Behind the airplane all the time, unable to shoot an approach by hand, poor control positioning when taxiing, three wheel landings, altitude ± 200 feet. When there is no reason they can't fly to the same standard, even if they choose not to test to it and get a commercial or ATP certificate. It is still a worthy goal to meet those standards.
