While it's great the guy is indeed going to live, can you imagine living that two years knowing the end was indeed coming and dealing with it? While he tried to make it easy on himself with trying to enjoy his life as much as possible I can't believe he still didn't have far too many periods where he worried about dying.

For them to say they are not negligent, that's just plain BS.
