AME List

The FAA site is not helping me in finding a new AME.... my old one has retired....

Designee management system on the FAA website lists all AME's. I can't seem to cut and paste the link.

Just went there, looking, also found a basic med guy in Las Vegas, Nv. who seems fair and reasonable.

I would go to an airliner pilot forum and sniff around for a recommended AME in your area. Unless one is 25 and bullet proof, I wouldn’t be picking one off the FAA’s list. JMHO, of course.

This! When I moved to BHM I asked on the Corporate thread on Airline Pilot Central about DMEs in the area. Those who responded basically all gave the same DME.
