Curious if one of the AMEs here knows...

How long can an AME hold you application waiting for another doctor to supply a report?

Had a doctor out of the office who had forgot to supply a needed report for an established SI.

AME held for 7 days. Of course Dr didn't produce till eighth day. Medical deferred.

Now I get to wait on OKC. I'm guessing several months without a paycheck.

The maximum time an AME may hold a medical application before electronically submitting it to the FAA is 14 days.
