Why are these planes so cheap, anyone know?

They are pretty cheap new about $100K if I remember right.

I've got a handful of hours in them, they are basic but solid trainers.

Split flaps were a bit odd for a plane like that. All drag no lift.

That one has 1590 hours on the engine and prop.

Very soon there will be an overhaul for both.

Add $20k or so to the purchase price to get the actual price of that airplane.
