I posted this on another thread, but it's worth a thread of its own! The commercial is called COG, and is a Rube Goldberg delight - it's all done with parts of the car itself - when the tires roll uphill, they're counterweighted inside with metal from the car. The windshield wipers are made to come on automatically when liquid hits the windshield. It's pretty amazing ...

I think I read somewhere that what you are seeing is all one take....IOW, no editing. So they went through the whole set up over and over again until everything worked just as you saw it.

Talk about a salmon day.

You're absolutely right - it was all done in one take, no editing - they did it over and over again for days, until one time, it actually worked. They said everyone just sat there - couldn't believe it! Then the hollering started! :D

This is really creative! Would be fun to see what someone could do with a plane. Anyone wish to donate one?

Maybe we could set something like this up at Gastons <vbg>

Couple folks on the board here sure have the talent.

Best,

Dave

This has been around for about a year. Still great. Took around 600 takes to get it to all work correctly.

Done in France if memory serves correctly.
