Alton Bay

I flew over Alton Bay yesterday after seeing a post of the guy checking the ice thickness. I understand it's getting close, but it is just the tip of the bay that is frozen. Supposedly a polar vortex is going to spin down here in a week or two, so hopefully the whole lake will freeze over, doesn't look too promising right now.

Maybe if we organize the boys from the 151st Division one more time more inn keepers in New Hampshire might be able to open. It worked for us in Vermont.

Negative, and the owners of the Cirrus I rent say nope, big nope. Don't really have the desire honestly, maybe some day when I have a Cub or something like that. I have snowmobiled across the lake a few times to that spot though. Haven't been able to do that for a while.
