Our airport does not get any federal funding and we do some interesting stuff to get money. We used to let cars do burn outs and even have a burnout strip on the runway to support this. But for some reason that was stopped a year or so ago. It was part of a 'Wings and Wheels' show. We still have band come and play. We even have a band shell for them. This summer we are having a Woodstock tribute. The joke being that we are near the town of Woodstock, IL not VT. http://www.tribute2woodstock.com/
There will be 9 tribute bands performing.
