I just picked up alot of used flight training material and equipment from a craigslist post and it turns out the books are for Commercial and Instrament training (Jepesen, ASA, Gleim, Ect) dated to about 2006 or 2007 Im not sure If these will be of use to me as I am training for my Private Pilot 1st, I do plan on continuing to Instrament rating but that may take some time. Will these books be too far out of date? should I try to sell them ?

Anyway the lot also came with 2 David Clark headsets (passive) that look fairly decent and 2 other's that look new but Im not familiar with the brands (Aviator and WGA I think) I have Bose now and do not think I will need them unless I take a passenger or need a back up.

This also came with a CH Yoke but I have a Saitek system.

And what looks to be the best out of the lot is a Lawrence Airmap 1000 w/ Ram mounts extended antenna box and all.

So I am writing this post to see what if any of this stuff I should keep and try to use or if I should sell some or all of it and If so where? Here on the Classifieds? Ebay?

Any way I am new to this Forum and dont know if this is the right place to ask these questions but any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd keep the instrument stuff since you may use it later. The newer kits come with DVDs and updated questions that you'll want, but I'd keep it for reference material.

Also, I'd keep a few of the passive headsets as an extra set just in case you take a 3rd or 4th person who doesn't have a set or if your primary set get lost or damaged.

there is a classified section on here that you could mention the same thing and see if you get any offers. I believe Barnstormers also lets you post a free listing.

2006?

It's out of date. Get new material for commercial and IFR. The rules change, and it isn't that expensive.
