February 17, 2007: Merrymeeting Airport 08B.

Photos are sequential. The Cheetah has been owned by Camille for 23 years. Before that it was owned by the Navy Flying Club of NAS Brunswick.

By the time he finished it was too close to getting dark. Maybe tomorrow!

When you get a beautiful clear day like that, yes, you do what it takes.
 
I'm betting you don't have to worry much about a "soft field" there. It looks like a beautiful day for a serious climbout.

But, I'm still glad I didn't take those orders to a P-3 squadron at Brunswick!
 
One of the guys at Merrymeeting has a Kit-fox(hidden in an old hangar). He's a P-3 pilot at NASB(VP-10). He has tundra tires on her and was going to fly today but spent too much time yakking with us.

(( You'd be surprised how many former NASB personnel come back to Brunswick and vicinity upon retirement))
