Just lookin' at that map - it's hard to tell, is Alaska really bigger than Texas - I fear the projection is somewhat misleading.

Alaska is bigger than Texas, but as the ol' cowboy says, "Wait'l it melts."
 
If the rest of us were that way, GA would be a lot more popular!
Yes, but think about that. I fear that level of popularity would serve to prohibit or at least reduce the amount of training to become a pilot. Look around, do you really want to share the skies who those you see on the roads?
I doubt even the amount of training currently required would effect a change in perception especially when you get all those yahoos screaming about their right to travel.
 
The Canadians might not agree.
