Airports are dangerous!

I think there was a problem with a poorly designed airfoil unable to sustain extended, unpowered flight.

Chalk up five more for Darwin awards! :rolleyes:
 
What a waste of life. I wonder if the newspaper will report that the cause was the engine stalled.;)

I got $20 says they would'a been fine if they had filed a flight plan...fools.
 
I suspect they were each carrying liquids in containers approximately 4 times larger than the 3 oz. size permitted by TSA. :rolleyes:
 
I would bet the pilot didn't follow the pilots rule: Eight hours between bottle and throttle!
 
At least the driver detached the wings before impact.

I think they say to fly between two trees to get rid of the wings not fly thru one tree.
