Airpooler: legal or not?

I hang a notice on the FBO bulletin board saying I am going to BLI saturday morning, want to ride along?

did I break any FARs ?

If some rides with me did they break any FARs?

If they do not ride home with me did they / I brake any FARs?

It's not any of the FAA's business until money changes hands.

Can't say about any FAR's, but not 61.113.

Unless your flying is in an ultralight, it's always the FAA's business. But it isn't a 61.113 problem as long as no money or other compensation is involved. However, with these web sites for setting up shared expenses flights, there is definitely money involved.
