Looks like this happened a little after 11am. Sounds like it might have been an experimental and possibly a fire in flight (not sure on that). I believe it happened somewhat after takeoff. Hits kind of close to home, I was just practicing landings there this morning about 2 hours earlier. Beautiful, fall day here in the Twin Cities. Bummed for his family. Thankfully no one else on the ground was hurt.
