Don't *Bleep* with the Australian Taxation Office ....

Realistically, it appears they contend that the seized stuff was procured with "dirty" omney, therefore, in order to collect taxes on that money, they seized assets. Not unlike many other "civilized" countries. On the other hand, they could have just shot the guy and took the stuff.

Nice airplanes though.
 
Hopefully they'll move the aircraft with something a wee bit more subtle than a forklift ... but honestly unless they are sold quickly they are probably doomed to rot in some storage yard somewhere.
