For Sale Aircraft club forming Zeeland MI Z98

We're trying to start an aircraft club at Z98, Zeeland Michigan. No airplane yet, although the mission consensus appears (so far) to call for a 4-adults + fuel + bags capable aircraft. {e.g. a 182 IFR capable.} This will be an 'equity' club, where the members own a share of the aircraft. Have 4 serious people so far, looking for 2 - 4 more. Secondary goal is to keep the costs manageable, ideally $15K buy-in (if possible). This obviously will depend on the number of members.

In today's 182 market, $120K (8 x $15K) will buy you a decent plane, but there's nothing left over to buy a hangar. Are you planning on renting a hangar?

Yes, there’ll be monthly dues in addition to buy-in for hangar rent, insurance, maintenance, etc. Airport management has promised us hangar space. They are trying to encourage more aviating (like most airports, lots of hangar queens!)

Well, can't seem to get more than 2 of us interested. This 'club' not happening, any time soon.
