I had a photoshoot cancel today, but, my friend Randy had been wanting photos of his new plane, so we took advantage of the beautiful evening! Meet Lulu Luscombe!!

I like 3,5 and 7 the most. This is obviously a very nice looking one, so many that I've seen over the years have beat to death cowlings which detracts from the plane. Luscombes have a very unique look, a bit funky, but what older plane isn't. That's part of the charm, never even sat in one but would love to fly one.

My first flight was in one ... it was sold and bought back in a group of 5 guys for 15k a few years ago. It now has bush tires on it (not gargantuan but pretty beefy). Thing was slow before those tires, so am sure is really slow now. Do love those Luscombes ... a little harder getting into now-a-days.
