Got a chance to get up close and personal with a Cessna TTx. Pretty sweet airplane!

Slowing down for our 182 photo plane. Speed brakes deployed!

It is mind-boggling to me that Cessna failed so hard with the TTx while Cirrus continues to dominate the GA market with a nearly identical plane.
No BRS. You either disrupt the market, or you watch others disrupt you with better tech.

I always assumed it was lack of effort on Cessna's part.
I have to agree, Cessna's lack of effort is apparent in so many ways. When you compare the interior build quality, the TTx looks on par with homebuilt Van's while the Cirrus looks like it could've been made by Lexus.

Well, the TTx was a Lancair, so it's not too far off from Van's.

Does anyone know how the interior is in a Ttx compared to a vans or cirrus? Width for feel and headroom?

Exactly, Cessna bought a product that was 98% complete and couldn't be bothered to put in the extra 2% of effort that would bring it to parity with the Cirrus.

But hey, when Textron can take a $3M King Air, call it the C-12 Huron and sell it to militaries worldwide for $7M, I guess that doesn't leave a lot of room to care about a $700k TTx. I mean, they had to sell 10 TTx's just to equal the revenue of a single C-12, and the C-12 also requires annual contracts for service and maintenance as part of the sale price.
