Well the weather in Texas has finally taken the normal turn... rain has ended and the heat has arrived! This means I finally was able to get in the air to get some photos of this 182 yesterday.

Sorry in advance, I'm posting a few more on this one than I usually do!

Off topic but what advantages did you get with that prop? TIA

Great shots as usual.!!

But La Grange has really changed since I used to fly in there once a week for business several years ago. Back then there was only a couple rickety wood hangars plus the wood shack used as an ''fbo''. All it had in it was a couch and a telephone, but it was air conditioned. And no cement anywhere.

Great shots as always!
Don’t be sorry! These are great pictures! :)

Thanks! I don't remember LaGrange being that way, but I remember that at Llano. It's nice when they fix these airports up. Hoping we get our new terminal at T74 in the near future.

Great shots as always Jack. #1 and 3 are my favorites
Gary
Thanks Gary. #1 captures the true feel of the day. I had two great pilots in that 182 and it helped me relax and enjoy the shoot!

The way he gets the sun to give him the shot he wants is a gift. He's got it.
Thank you! I'm a nut for the sun. I've even got my girlfriend pointing out how the sun lights up a tree or a building in the mornings! When doing one of these shoots, we just do a lot of turns until I see the light I want.

View attachment 97215I’ve seen those letters! Great shots!
Thanks. Those letters are one of the coolest things around here. Great to show someone who is new to the area.
