I've loved this plane since I first saw it many years ago. Rusty Morris bought it and spent many hours bring out this beautiful polish, and in 2018 he was rewarded with the AirVenture Grand Champion award for Classic Aircraft. His son Mark now owns and flies it.

Wow indeed!

I was looking at the first couple of pictures and thought to myself, "I wished Jack did cockpit shots, I'd like to see the interior", and lo and behold...

They sure didn't look like that when they left Wichita!

Sweet looking plane, great photos too.
WOW! Both the airplane and the photos!
Thank you!

Thanks! Anytime I'm shooting for a magazine, I take some interior shots, but more often than not, they're not very exciting. In this case... pure beauty!

Wow! Props to the owners who care for her!
Yeah, if you haven't seen this one in person, my photos don't do it justice. Rusty bought and restored it, then gave it to his son Mark a few years ago. I liked polishing my Cessna 140... you know, the one with rag wings! I never wanted to polish the bottom of wings!

Fabulous work, Jack. It’s a shame the magazine layout editor clutters up your photos with so much text. That first shot should be a centerfold.

Jack, have you done either of the Barron’s airplanes? Would have been a 195 a year or so ago and a 170 a couple of years before that.

What a beaut!
I have to admit though that as the owner of a polished airplane the first thing I see is a lot of work and the next thing is the beauty.Polished planes aren’t for the casual or faint of heart,it’s a ton of work

This will sound bad, but I don't think so. I've lost track! Was the 195 shot at Oshkosh? I did shoot one there a couple of years ago.

Honestly, I don’t know where they were shot. Or if they WERE shot. Just curious on my part.

Well they were shot by someone because they were both featured in Vintage or Sport Aviation. Maybe both.

I did shoot their 195! It took me awhile to find it. I remember it now. It was a cloudy day, which sucks when taking photos of any plane, but especially a polished plane! I think EAA agreed, they didn't use many of my photos! (Video Here). More of my photos toward the end of the video.

I've never taken photos of their 170, but I now know which one you're talking about. Beautiful plane.
