Hello,
Back around 1999 or 2000, there was an editorial on the last page of the subject magazine.
In it, the writer talked about how many years it takes to bring a new grad Aerospace engineer up to speed in doing industry work.
I’m looking for that issue of Air & Space magazine.
If you know what I am referring to, please relay the year and month.

Sounds interesting, would like to see that too.

Just spent some time poking around online, and couldn't find a good archive for Air and Space Smithsonian magazine. I recall getting it in the 90s. Really liked it, every issue was really well done.

No clue but here is the link to the archive. If you can't find it there, call them. If it exists they will get it for you. Good people when you're on a mission to find something.
