Air Frequencies is now available for Android!

Google play market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bishoppeaktech.android.airfrequencies

The iOS version is also available here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/air-frequencies/id626626301?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2

Made by pilots, for pilots! All proceeds go towards my instrument rating.

Air Frequencies is a reference for pilots or airplane fanatics using aviation scanners that lists frequencies of closest airports by using your device's GPS. For airports further away, there is a search bar to find airports by name or identifier. Uses FAA international airport data with over 44,000 airports worldwide. No internet connection required after downloading.
Lists all available frequencies, e.g. tower, ground, CTAF, approach/departure, ATIS, CD, UNICOM, etc.

Note: Always cross check with your current AFD. Updates will be issued frequently (imported directly from the FAA database), but there is no guarantee of up-to-date information. This app does NOT allow you to listen to frequencies - a scanner or transceiver is required to listen to the frequencies listed.

sounds interesting, I'll check it out

Thanks! Let me know if you have any problems or suggestions for future versions

Bet it doesn't have the third tower freq for KAPA. 'Cause it's not published. I had to hunt a while for it for my now-defunct LiveATC feed.

Where do you pull the freq data from? An FAA document or something live like RadioReference? Both have their problems when attempting to be accurate.

:)
