Don't know what others have been experiencing; but I've been doing some testing on a Dual XGPS-170 ADS-B-In receiver and notice that I loose all traffic information (around the greater ABQ Class-C area) at altitudes below 9000' MSL. Also note that individual targets drop from reception once they drop below ~1000' AGL.

Don't know whether this is useful or not -- or just a datapoint for future reference.

Where are your antenna(s) mounted?

On the dash/glare shield. Antenna is (essentially) identical to those on WiFi adapter cards for computers (towers, not the flash stick mobile ones for laptops)
