Accidental deletion of some PoA forum attachments

I just had a screwup and probably deleted a bunch of attachments out of the main board AND out of the backups. Looks like it could be up to 633 attachments.

I'm sorry. I'm going to see if I can recover them later tonight.

I recovered 44 of them from one backup that I had. Still looking for 589 more.

As long as it wasn't pictures of boobies.
 
It's pretty much going to be limited to attachments uploaded since January 13th(ish) of 2016, I think. But i'm not sure I'll be able to get them back.

Well, it's not as bad as I first thought. Looks like a total of 276 attachments and 263 (mostly related) thumbnails. There might be some attachments missing for whom the associated thumbnails still exists and vice versa.

276
root@cavu:~# cat deleted-files2.txt|egrep ".thumb$" |wc -l
263


Ugh. This is the first time we've lost files in as far back as I can remember. I'm pretty disappointed in myself.
 
Almost anything lost can be re-found. And the rest....there is the waybackmachine, right?
Forget about it, you have more important concerns.
 
Yeah, as long as they weren't MY attachments, don't worry about it!
